UK-based queer tarot deck creator
Illustrator of the Hierophanies Tarot.
I’m Klaus Piechocki (pronounced pier-hot-ski)
I’m a proud bisexual trans man (he/they.) Much of my self initiated work explores gender and diversity. An ongoing theme of my work is drawing beautiful and ornate portraits of men, because I think we don’t see enough positive representation of men and masc nonbinary people exploring femininity.
I specialise in portraiture, narrative illustration and surface design. I work in both a semi-realistic style using pencils and copic markers, and also paint digitally. I often use analog and digital tools interchangeably for a single piece.
I’m currently working on an academic project exploring queer uncanny archetypes using illustration and text.
