I have a flexible day rate if you need to hire me for a project on unspecified length.

Half day rate (4 hours)- £100

Day rate (approx 8 hours)- £200

Weekly rate (5 days on weekdays only)- £950 (please let me know if you need me full time for consecutive days as this can be arranged).

Weekends can be arranged- but please talk to me so I can arrange this in advance.

*I don’t work from an hourly rate, as I don’t work efficiently this way.

I enjoy portraiture and character art books, but I am also happy to illustrate anything for the cover (within reason). If you have an idea, concept or design in mind I can work with you to bring that to life.

Concept sketches

I’ll design and roughly sketch 4 designs very early in our process, and let you pick one for me to take to final artwork.

Note- If lots of concept/ design work is needed, I may need to bill you for extra work at my day rate- I’ll warn you ahead of time if I think this is needed.

Drawing process

I work from character descriptions, book covers you like, and ideally inspiration images, for example, a Pinterest board of things you like.

Changes

1 round of changes is included, if you want something in the design changed.

Cards

I can illustrate a coherent full deck of cards, working to a specific colour scheme to match your branding, or working with you to design a new coherent design and colour scheme.

Packaging

I will also design the box/packaging, including any ‘surface design’ (which usually means a pattern or design that goes on a surface, for example, a floral print)

Leaflets / Booklets

I can also design and create accompanying leaflets or booklets to go with the deck.

Support during printing

Lastly, I will create final print ready files and support you during the submission process to whatever print company you choose to use.
